How would you check your engine oil pressure and water temperature gauges? |
I would start coach, wait until the warning lights go out, then tap gauges to ensure needles are not stuck, and wait until gauges rise to normal operating range. I check gauges here because they are not available up front. |

Coolant reservoir |
Use your sight glass to check there's an adequate level of coolant. |

Power steering fluid tank |
Check dipstick to ensure the fluid level is above the refill line. |

Oil |
Pull out oil dipstick to ensure the oil level is above the refill line. |

Exhaust system |
Check exhaust make sure there is no damage, no leaks, and it is secure. |

Frame |
Check long frame and cross members that there are no cracks, broken welds, or other damage. |

What are you checking on your water pump, air compressor , and power steering pump? |
That they are all gear driven, they appear functional, no damage, no leaks, and it's secure. |

Alternator |
Check that it is belt-driven, appears functional, no damage or leaks, and it's secure. Check that there is no broken wiring. |

Belt of alternator |
No more than 3/4 inch of play, not frayed, cracked, and worn. |

Hoses |
Check all hoses that there are no bulges, no cracks, and no leaks. |

Level |
Check that coach is leveled and has no leaks. |
