The word compare is defined as “to represent as similar” according to Merriam-Webster’s online dictionary. People say that a comparison should come from something that is interrelated with eath other, such as two different models of a phone, fruits, or even as far as people. Although this claim neccessarily isn’t wrong, this statement is falsified when it comes to literature. The book “Things Fall Apart” and the movie “Home” were works of literature that had vastly different settings and plots however, through both directly and indirectly, they were both able to be compared a fair amount.
