Source screening for infectious disease may be compelled by court order only when the following are present

There was significant exposure found by physician licensed under chapter 458 or 459, employee exposed on the course of employment, source will not submit to screening voluntarily or cannot physically indicate

|
Subpoenas or notice of taking a deposition personally from the server a designated supervisor or administrative employee will sign unless
|
BSO no longer employs the witness, witness is not scheduled to work before the date required appearance, date is less than 5 days from date of service

|
|
Employees regularly available for court appearances will notify court liaison and district division representative of annual leave dates by email at least

90 days before vacation or as soon as it is approved, notify they are back upon returning

Employees who receive a subpoena or notice to appear at a deposition will be required to

Contact the deposing attorneys office no sooner than 3 days prior to the scheduled date to verify the deposition date and time

Misdemeanor or felony court appearance for off duty hours the employee will adhere to the following procedure

Bravo shift will contact the assigned state attorney or state attorney witness liaison coordinator during their last regularly scheduled shift to verify the status of the case

Personnel assigned to the alpha shift will email the respective subpoena
|
to the court liasion unit requesting a status update 3 business days before the scheduled appearance personnel must provide a contact phone number in the email
