Manuals and other forms of documentation that contains a description of weapon systems with instructions for their effective use.

|
ID's a particular type of manual.

What is the purpose of the 13 character technical manual identification numbering system (TMINS)?
|
Serves as the TM id number.

What is the numbering system for a CD-ROM numbering system for PDF manuals?

13-position code:
-Position 1 and 2 indicate a NAVAIR TM and 3 and 4 indicated CD-ROM and will always be A1-CD. -Position 5-7 indicates type of manual. -Position 8-10 are to be used for additional characters to describe the type of manual when three digits are not sufficient. If not needed, they will be zeros. -Position 11-13 will be in sequence beginning with 001. |

|
First three digits assigned in order (001, 002, etc). Last two digits are used when a change or revision is made.
