Veterans Assistance Committee
The VAC is a diverse, campus-wide group of UVM staff members who are committed to providing the best possible support to our student veterans.
VAC Mission Statement: To spread awareness, assess and meet the unique needs and challenges of, coordinate resources for, and fill any service gaps of student veterans at UVM.
VAC Vision Statement We believe that innovating new ways for veterans to transition from the military to higher education and beyond capitalizes on the diversity of their backgrounds and experiences and builds a stronger university, community and country. We do all of this by leveraging existing resources and implementing processes that ease access to Department of Veterans Affairs
